Responding to the new realities of social distancing

Go Tenant responds to the new reality of social distancing with remote check ins and video tours — helping keep landlords and tenants safe!

Check in your tenants remotely

Over the last few months landlords have had to adapt to new ways of working and it looks like social distancing is here to stay. We want to help make your tenants and of course yourselves as healthy as possible and minimise the risk for everyone where we can. So, now all check in forms and inventories can be emailed to the new tenant.

We would highly recommend having a video call with the tenant during the check-in. This is to induct them into the house, take utility readings and work your way through the inventory. But it will also ensure you comply with a change in legislation in 2015 where you are required to show and test the fire alarm at the beginning of each tenancy. And of course, during social distancing and/or a lock down, this could easily be done by the tenant and recorded and stored as video evidence on Go Tenant.

Add a video tour to your personal Go Tenant website to engage future tenants

As part of a subscription with Go Tenant every landlord can promote their properties and rooms on their own personalised website. Highly professional looking and can be created in minutes!

To give you the best opportunity to show case your beautiful looking houses and be more engaging with prospective tenants we have now added the option to upload a video. Far more interactive than pictures, gives a much better sense of space and helps you show off those little extras that really make your property standout.

This is not only an extremely useful way to showcase your properties during a lock down and with social distancing but could also be used as a testimonial. It's your website so get creative and use video to help you engage your prospective tenants!
